Natural Disasters Won’t Stop the Delivery of Care

When Hurricane Beryl hit Texas in July 2024, long term, in-clinic dialysis patient, Yolanda Rangel faced disrupted dialysis access as there were closures and power outages at her designated clinic. Within 24 hours, Monogram Health sourced and secured alternative dialysis care for Ms. Rangel and provided her with ongoing support until her regular dialysis center reopened. When natural disasters strike, patients with serious conditions like kidney disease and diabetes are especially vulnerable. Monogram’s Emergency Preparedness Program (EPP) is dedicated to providing critical support during these challenging times, such as access to food, transportation, financial planning/recovery, etc.
